Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great Safety Tool
I love this kid alert; we just place it at the end of our driveway when the kids are playing in the front and side yards. The cars really slow down as they go by the house. It only takes a second for my 18 month old to tear down the driveway toward the road, the kid alert acts as an extra added safety net.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Step2 Kid Alert
This product is great, although it looks green, or lime, it is not it is yellow which is okay. Came in good shape boxes okay. Delivered in a timely manner.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great idea after a bit of training.....
....for the child-not the turtle! What a great idea, until our not quite 2 year-old saw it on the street and wanted to run into the street to play with it! Naturally a melt down occured. So even though the turtle did a great job, now it's our turn to keep our toddler safe! Great product!

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Visible, Inexpensive and Works as Intended
We purchased this inexpensive safety device to place in the street near the end of our driveway. It is highly visible and we notice that approaching cars heed the sign and slow down for the children in the neighborhood. It was easy and quick to assemble. It can be blown over in very high winds, but situating it so that the broad side of the sign is not facing the wind can reduce chances of that happening.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - We saw immediate reaction from drivers
We live at the beginning of a cul-de-sac where you can always find children of all ages playing. We put this in front of our house, nearly in the middle of the road, and it slowed drivers immediately!

It's sturdy, catches the attention of the drivers (you can't miss it) and the only thing that I wasn't aware of... you need sand for the bottom. Its no replacement for teaching our kids to look both ways but definitely is serving its purpose of slowing drivers and alerting them to children playing.

I would recommend this for any parent!
