Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - *****Classy Strathwood *****
Iam very pleased with this collection! It looks so classy on my 7x26 deck. If your looking for a unique look this is it. The packaging took the most time to remove, assembly was quick, just put the legs on. My son helped and it was a snap.
It comes with levelers on the bottom of the legs. Now I can use the matchbooks to light the fire instead of leveling the furniture legs. Also comes with touch up paint.

Purchased two of the motion chairs to go around the firepit/table and I had reservations at first upon receiving them. I wanted more of the beautiful scroll work on the back to show.
(they come fully assembled, that was why I bought them)
After setting everything up and sitting in the chairs, they are sooooo, comfortable.
The cushions are light off white biege, high quality, but a bit bland. However, you can do add any color of throw pillow you like so thats a plus. Had a few stains already and Simple green removed the spot easily. Consider covering them in weather.
Would buy all of this collection if my deck was bigger.
High quality and lighter weight.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great value and beautiful
I ordered several items from this collection and have been very pleased with all of them. I am anxious to use this as a firepit when the weather cools but in the meantime it serves as a great conversational and casual eating table.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Very Pleased
We purchased this product (along with 4 of the "motion" chairs) and it arrived last week. I was nervous about buying something like this online without seeing it in person, but so far I have been very happy with the product. It looks great and is exactly what we needed for half the price of similar products in local stores. The cushions on the chairs are a bit bland, but that doesn't bother me too much. I figure we will need to replace them eventually. I purchased some larger throw pillows so that the chairs will be more comfortable for shorter people like myself. The firepit looks great and can be easily used for cocktails or a casual dinner. As long as this product is durable (time will tell), I will be very pleased with this purchase.

Nice quality, assembled quickly and looks great on our deck. Was missing the screw to attach the knob to the cover, which required a trip to Home Depot - but other than that, we're completely satisfied. As an fyi, Kroger stores [Fry's, Ralph's, Smith's] stock firelogs specifically for firepits - making it even easier to use this product.

The technical program for TheServerSide Java Symposium 2009 is starting to take shape.

Ted Shelton: "Frankly I felt that BlogOn was a waste of time and money."

I think the BlogOn conference was overproduced. In the name of professionalism the organizing firm turned off potential speakers, oversubscribed sponsors, etc.

I would have liked a debatable topic (aside from *blogging = journalism*. Two people slugging it out. Or a devil's advocate taking challenges from the floor.

I would have liked more hard numbers. Facts. Charts. Diagrams. We have the analytic tools to BS-check them; harder on vague opinions and single-points-of-observation.

I found it disturbing how much money was being commanded (from both attendees and sponsors) for a conference at a university. Maybe it was because it was at Berkeley? Maybe we should have taken over a community college or a Cal State or a DeVry. The facilities costs would have been cheaper at least. I heard an organizer apologize and say the next one would be at a hotel, like that would have been better.

Cost wasn't the whole problem. We're at a stage where early adopters are meeting folks who want to leap the chasm. Huge gaps in knowledge, experience, context, culture, vocabulary. It's the gap.

There are huge ideas to be explored, even in the world of applying blogs to media strategy and the enterprise. And most of the big ideas weren't even on the agenda at BlogOn. Probably because it was catering to those who want to commercialize, fund, and otherwise exploit (excuse me, "get in on") the emerging medium.

Let's fork these conferences so advanced topics on business and technology and culture fit the participants.

Every year, The Onion sells boxes for fake, horrible-looking products to prank unsuspecting gift-receivers with. They've got two new one's this year: the iFeast and Kleen-Stride.

What makes these so great is just how close to real they look. Trust me, I've seen plenty of absolutely idiotic products with iPod docks in them, and the iFeast isn't the dumbest. As for the Kleen-Stride, well, aren't there slippers designed to clean your floors? In any case, these are awesome and a good way to gauge just how your fiancé will react to your legitimately crappy gifts in the future. [Kleen-Stride and iFeast]
